Dan’s life passion has always been songwriting.  His songs are included in several film / TV music libraries and he has a placement in the MTV series Awkward.  Just as he enjoys listening to all styles of music.  His compositions reflect this and span several genres.

He started his first band at the age of 12 and wrote his first song a few months later.   Dan studied music at the University of Toledo majoring in string bass.  After college, he taught guitar at the prestigious Sam Martinez School of Classical Guitar and performed with solo, with the Blues Folk Revival, and The Sam Martinez Trio.    

In 1975, he moved to the beauty of Arizona, performing locally with blues harmonic great “Bullet” Bill Tarsha and later with Imagination.  He gathers inspiration traveling with Median and enjoying their homes in Scottsdale, AZ, the mountains of Pine, AZ, and the beaches of sunny Puerto Penasco, Mexico. 

While much of his time is dedicated to writing new material, he can occasionally be heard in Pine or Phoenix performing with is old band mate George “Guitar” Mansor in their group “Tips & Beer.”
